Play-by-play announcer Bruce Bentley and Color Commentator
John Forton return for a seventh season together as the
“Voices of the Yellow Jackets”. Duane Everest and Jeff Marshall
who keep track of the game statistics complete the broadcast team.
Duane, when called upon, also fills in as color commentator.
Bruce Bentley has been with WSCG Radio for almost seven years, holding the
position of Operations Manger for the last five years. Aside from his
various duties, Bruce hosts and produces “Sports Galore” which airs Monday,
Wednesday, and Fridays from 2-3 PM on 1380 AM WSCG while also hosting the
“True Morning Wakeup” on sister station True Country 106.3 WSCG-FM.

John Forton is a 1978 graduate of Greenville High School. John also owns a
local business called Sport Support Services, instructing youth athletes
in basketball, golf, and tennis techniques and training.
Together Bruce and John have been awarded three Michigan Association of
Broadcasters Awards for their Sports Broadcasts. The Duo have won back to
back first place honors in the Sports Broadcast category. Both of those
awards in 2005 and 2006 were for Jacket football games. In 2003, the duo
was awarded a second place honor for a district basketball at Greenville
High School between Rockford and Forest Hills Central.
